I pay attention to Golf news just as much as I keep up with the WNBA. A good indication as to why I didn't know.

What are the differences in VIP tickets and golden bear hospitality tickets?

No idea. I didn't even know about the golden bear tickets. I know VIP gets you into the clubhouse, which obviously equates to better drinks.

I'm just guessing, but the golden bear hospitality tickets sound like they may get you into one of the house parties along the course.

VIP Hospitality House Includes parking with shuttle service to house on 18th. Also food and drinks provided and Patron Badge to access course

This is what mine offers. I didn't know if the other one offered more or what. As long as I'm drinking for free with my LSU polo and enjoying good golf I am good

It's absolutely terrible sitting in the office knowing half of my family is at the tournament currently. Learning lesson for next year I suppose.

This is exactly how I will feel next week. My wife's uncle lives on 17 at Southwind here in Memphis. Between he and my FIL, the smoker/grill will be going nearly none stop all week next week, and I'll be stuck at work.

Anyone see the Bear in the booth on Golf Channel yesterday. He said at least 3 different times that he didn't care what the final scores were, just that the course looked and played good, said he'd prefer it to play fast though b/c it makes you think more about placements. Seemed like there was a little bit of tension between he and Faldo.

I have to say that withdrawal for mental fatigue is pretty bad. Especially when he has a legitimate medical excuse he could use anytime. I also realize that Boo Weekly and Sang Moon Bae withdrew after 79s too, but no one bought tickets or advertising time because they were playing.

The fact that his excuse was playing 3 weeks in a row, then hopping a jet to Europe for his wife's birthday, then coming back and playing in a corporate event, and finally getting to Ohio Wednesday for the pro-am was pretty shitty IMO. Sorry you got paid to play golf for 3 weeks while the rest of us 8-5'ers had to scoreboard watch, then just HAD to ride a private jet to Europe to celebrate a bday, then just HAD to show up at an event for a company that literally pays you millions to wear their logo on your hat/shirt/bag.

I'll be there tomorrow. Don't know who I want to follow yet. Usually I sit at the 9 and 18 greens for a few hours. I love watching the second shot coming in at 9.

1:05 Orginally.

That will probably be pushed back because rain has stopped play.

No one has really made a big move today, which I'm pretty surprised about. Perfect opportunity for Tiger to go -4 on his round today and move near the top.

Bubba has made a move in the wrong direction.

This seems like it's the hardest the course has played in recent memory. Don't really know what changes Jack made over the year, so I'm curious as to their effects and how much more difficult they made the course.

-3 on par 5's yesterday was nice. He's got to get back to expecting 4's on those. Only 1 hole over par is good too through 21 holes. Haven't seen but he must be hitting the ball well.

The old tiger would eagle this par 5 and the this tourney would be in the books.
ETA: New tiger pushes it way right with a 3 wood and will be battling for par. If you can't control your 3 wood off the tee you're going to struggle to win PGA events.
