First of all 90% of yall know zero about boxing. U idiots talk about Floyd being afraid of Manny. That's BS. There prizefighters they aren't afraid of anyone. The fight hasn't happened yet because theres a thing called building a fight. And as u can see most of casual fans are ready to see Manny kill Floyd. Bingo that was the plan. Build and build the fight until non boxing fans want to see the fight. It's a thing called marketing read about it. BTW real boxing fans know Floyd wipes the floor with PacMan. Easy work!!! PacMan leaves himself wider open than Ortiz and you see what happened to him.

Why does the whole fight have to only be under Floyd's terms?

He only clearly won the 1st round.
Not sure which fight you were watching. The 1st and 2nd were the ones that were close. Floyd dominated the 3rd and 4th. Ortiz made a little noise towards the end of the latter, but Floyd already had the round by that time

Yeah, Floyd's building the fight up for the senior circuit I guess. Give me a break, Floyd doesn't want to lose his record.

Your argument is to keep sayin that he'll take it immediatley after the fight. If can do that then he should have no problem taking it before the fight. So what's the excuse now?
He's superstitious and thinks blood draws weaken him, and that's why he lost to Erik Morales.
I used to work with a Phillipino; he said superstitions are serious business in the phillipino culture
that's the reasoning anyway...you can decide if it's bogus or not

as he should. i would rather see ortiz more veteran for such a moment in his life.. (he's no mike tyson) i actually think him being 24 was a little disadvantage going into the fight; youth is nice, but hopefully he has learned from tonight.
unless a guy is super duper old, i would prefer the more experienced guy to begin with.

Currently registered with US, but have fought Golden Gloves. Not that there's a huge difference between the two.

what would the blood loss right before the fight do to their bodies, conditioning, etc.?
Posted on 9/18/11 at 12:12 am to Mattdaddy311
Floyd the fighter is afaid of Pacman, Matty, he better go and retire. I don't wanna see him get beat up.

I also think him coming in at 164 was a serious disadvantage

nothing; the amount for a blood draw is insignificant
