Love the dude. He should have gotten a big time head coaching job long before this year.

That Stanford loss sucks for Oregon. They’re a damn good team

Didn't he get popped for recruiting violations at one point? That probably stopped his rise

FSU should have hired him as HC instead

Yep. We’d have 8 receivers and no Sewell.

I have to say, I think we learned a bunch of valuable lessons in that Stanford loss. Seriously sucks to lose games like that but our young arse team will never do shite like that again.

I could be completely wrong but didn’t he have that “shady, slimy recruiter” reputation before he was processed at Bama? Correct me if I’m wrong

I love what he’s doing up there. He has a great system and has the ability to recruit the athletes to run it. (I really wish Bama would have got Penei Sewell. He’s a beast) and most importantly Oregon is not soft

No i think they just had a 3 win season after an 8 win season and FIU canned him.

This. They are mashing teams on both the offensive and defensive lines. The Mario Cristobal effect. Sure they're not as flashy as previous Oregon offenses, but this new philosophy has the lines to be more consistent.

Eh. He would have left eventually. Not like they really lost anything.
