true, but Leonard Garcia isn't very good 
He should've put him away and never let that go to decision.....just goes to show how much he has improved since their first fight 2 years ago.
So as long as Hioki wins next month, I'll just assume he gets the title shot against the Aldo/Koch winner. So who does KZ fight in the meantime?

KZ has a shite load of momentum right now. Unless Hioki wins impressively, KZ will get the winner of Aldo-Koch. Whoever doesn't get the shot will either fight Mcadonald or Barao.

it's all good man....I get the lighter divisions mixed up all the time as well 
I honestly wouldn't mind KZ getting the title shot over Hioki....both are deserving now. Hioki could've gotten the Aldo fight @ 149 if he wanted it....so it's his own fault if he gets passed up again.
still wonder who the other guy will fight in the meantime. Florian, Mendes, Siver, Peralta, alcantara, etc? They need to go ahead and bring Pat Curran on over from Bellator

I saw him get TKOd in a kick boxing match against Clementi. It was via kick or knee, can't remember exactly.
Yea, that KO was brutal, lol (the boxing one). I can't hate on him for it because that was a bomb and he took it right on the chin.

Ok, couldn't remember....thought it happened while sparring. And I'm not talking badly about MG at all.....I think he has a great chin, his sub defense just sucks arse
Speaking of MG/Clementi, I got to re-watch their UFC fight recently and almost forgot about how much those two truly hated each other. There was/still is some serious bad blood between those guys.....

No, I'm pretty sure it was in NOLA or Biloxi in a kickboxing match. I wanna say it was via body kick. Maybe around '03??

Completely agree. It's all paw, paw, swing for the fences.
And it looks like BJ turned down the Kos fight now. Who knows what's really happening though. Gotta believe BJ comes back at some point....I just don't see him making LW anymore.

I personally think that BJ is too lazy and doesn't want to have to put in the work to stay at 155.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying....I just don't see him being motivated enough to get back down to LW.
And I just figured there wouldn't be enough people really interested in the Strikeforce event to create a whole new thread for it. Pretty cool how two events within a week's time are both headlined by guys from Louisiana....pretty crazy how much talent that state puts out. If someone wants to start a new thread that'd be awesome, as this should be a pretty decent card (at least the 2 main events). I don't think many are aware just how good Melendez can be, and that Cormier has a good shot at becoming UFC HW champ before too long.....
