All kidding aside I just like to fuel the fire. I'm originally from around Ruston and I have alot of friends that go to school there, and yes the I-bowl situation has alot to do with the feeling towards one another.
I agree it's good for the state to have 3 bowl teams, however I still hope y'all get skull-fricked.

No....that would be against Nevada for WAC title....I'm not counting the Ole Miss win cause well....everybody best Ole Piss. If you look at our record we had some really close losses against Houston, SoMiss & Miss St.
I'm sick of hearing about that IBowl excuse! I wanted Tech to play a more regional team that year like ULL... It woulda been great for fans but there woulda been no national interest.
As far as getting "skull- fricked" by TCU....that's a distinct possibility, but Tech is very motivated & TCU is no LSU!!!

No doubt Tech lost a few heart breakers, but coming close is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades. Y'all have a good team this year, there is no taking away from what y'all have accomplished but you have to admit the WAC is dismal this season and only going to get worse.
If y'all lose it next year they should end the athletic program.

Tech is going a long way to get completely embarrassed on National T.V. They are going to wish this game was on versus or CST before its over with.

Could happen, but I saw the TCU/SMU game on TV last night and I didn't see a ton of talent on the TCU team. They look like they have the talent of mid-level SEC team to me. I think it will be a close game and Tech will win if TCU is disappointed to be at this game.

Ahhhh.....I expect nothing else from cocky & arrogant LSU peeps like yourself! This is a great time for Tech & fantastic opportunity to play a team like TCU in a decent bowl ( for us) No doubt that TCU is a step above Tech, but so is Boise St & we've gone toe-to-toe with them.....TCU is no different. We have a legitimate shot. In fact, Tech has competed well against every major team that they've played this year! I think it's funny that LSU fans have completely forgotten the Tech/LSU game in '09...honestly, y'all were lucky to win that one

Ok since we are talking about past games between Tech/LSU. What about in 03 when all the Dawg fans thought they could compete with the Tigers and got completely and utterly embarrassed in Tiger Stadium.You played close with one of the worst teams that LSU has had in a while and still couldn't pull it off.

I can remember many LSU teams worse than that. Maybe you were trying to say, "the only LSU team Tech played that didn't win the national championship."
