My best bet was a show bet 
Ill probably just watch the San Diego, though it may set up well for kettle corn. It would be nice to see paynter win, but he may get caught up with chief havoc

I'd have to see the X-ray. Some sesamoids they come back from, some they don't. Depends on what other ligament damage, etc is done.
If it was my horse, probably would have put him down. Surgery can be rough, as can the later complications like laminitis.
I had to make the call on my mare while she had a colt by her side. Prognosis from colic surgery is not good so I didn't want to put her through it. Turns out I made the right call because her stomach had already ruptured, but I made the decision not knowing that.
