Pretty much. Which is interesting because opinions by their very nature can't be wrong but oddly enough, yours is.

The DP show is easily the best sports talk show on the air. DP is one of the best interviewers in the business and his show does a really good job of incorporating pop culture tidbits too. Even my GF likes it.

if you have Sirius/XM.. you shouldn't even be wasting your time with The Very Boring Dan Patrick Show. There is a lot better content to be found out there

I used to have XM and never heard any interesting NFL shows... I admit I didn't look often.

I have also found the DP Show kinda boring but I only listened a few times. For some reason every time I'd tune in he would be doing some sort of comedy bit full of running gags that I of course didn't get -- talking to his sidekicks about signs at Gameday instead of talking sports.

I love the DP Show. Whenever I work from home I put it on via DTV...makes the first 3 hours of my day fly by.

Everyone agrees SVP is one of the best in the business. I don't understand how you don't like him

SVP would probably have a great show if he had a medium from which to run his show his own way and not have the ESPN execs and PR guys looking over his shoulder 24/7 micromanaging his content and making sure he walks on eggshells. that's how the ESPN machine works. it's exactly why Dan Patrick and others who have left (Jack Arute anyone?) can't stand that company.

I'm not saying I love the Dan Patrick show I only listen to it a couple times but I enjoy it. SVP is the shite. He loves LSU and doesn't take himself to seriously. One of the best in the business.

The Dino Costa Show - Mad Dog Radio

Loud mouthed fat idiot who spends most of his show talking about how great and important he is to mad dogs channel.

I like Bruce Murray but without a partner like yam or Bill he isn't the same.

Mad dog is good except for when goes on tennis rants

they're called The Danettes. lame as hell.

DP tries way too hard to be funny and hip. usually a good indicator that a radio host has no unique perspective or interesting angle to talk about.

finally someone who knows what I'm talking about!

alright..

you're focusing too much on that one aspect. he has a very unique outlook on things, talks about politics, sports, religion, social issues, food.. he did one of his shows from a cigar store in Connecticut a few weeks ago and spent at least an hour of it alone on cigars.

yeah Bruce seriously needs Bill back

I love Mad Dog. even his tennis rants. he cracks me up. and when he turns on an NBA game from the 80s and does play by play and analysis and goes nuts I fricking lose it! he has a great memory about all kinds of sporting events going back 30 years. plus he's a Giants fan.

here are 3 articles about Dino you might want to check out. guy was living out of his van at one point broke and destitute.

from 2006

from 2009

from 2010

he may be a blowhard at times, but his radio talent is unmistakable. he's one of the smartest and most original voices out there. I loved the other night when he laid into all the people praising Bob Costas for his Sandusky interview.

never heard him. just did a search and apparently he hosts a sports show on Howard 101. Sounds interesting. Will give him a listen.

sorry, not everyone can do super interesting pieces like breaking down the Cowboys front 7 or debating how many yards Aaron Rodgers will throw for in week 14 or coming up with a top 10 list of the best fullbacks of all time. riveting stuff.

i know espn won't let any of their people come on his show anymore. i've also heard him say in the past they tried to railroad him right after he left.

Two warnings about Ferrall:

1) he's on Howard, if you mind language then don't listen
2) his voice is annoying at first but you get used to it
