RS thought he would play QB at LSU and thought he took himself out of the NFL draft in the 5th round. He's a smart cat.

He racial profiled. Something that obviously pissed off Martin. Martin then (according to what the law decided) attacked and beat the crap out GZ. GZ then did what he thought he needed to do in protecting himself.
Agree it was a bad sequence of events. In the end a family still lost their son but the jury got it right.

too many athletes are making it about race.
While I agree. The fact that even you acknowledge in your heart of hearts...it was racial profiling that started...I'm sure thats what pisses black people off.
I'm not black, but I figure the long history of "racial profiling" is still an issue that upsets them.
There are a lot of dumb comments on twitter. But this one (have to paraphrase because I didnt save it
Scout.com in the 1950s. "Well they were not legally allowed to sit in white areas. They had the opportunity to leave. They deserved their arse beating"
My reaction was
I agree...people are making WAY too much out of GZ. But I dont get "pissed off" at their sensitivity.

Ok but thinking that he should lose his freedom over this is wrong. None of these people are just saying GZ is a racist they are saying he is a murderer as well which is wrong. Whether he is or isn't, he wasnt on trial for being a racist. Why is a man of another race killing a black man that much worse than all of the black on black killings that senselessly happen everyday?

The Plax comparison is a good point.
Negligent homicide would have been the appropriate charge for Zimmerman. He did a couple of dumb things that led to him needing the gun.

This is what I don't understand. The belief that if you don't 110% agree with my perspective you're an idiot who shouldn't be allowed to walk and chew gum at the same time is the saddest aspect of our society

Except plax had an illegal weapon on him

Because most are ignorant to the facts of the case and want to turn this into a dog fighting gets you more time than killing a black "kid" discussion. This case was flamed by the Media in a disgraceful way and pandered to the black community. The prosecution was a circus and did nothing to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this was 2nd degree murder or manslaughter.
Is it sad that Martin lost his life? Yes. Did the jury make the right decision based on the evidence presented to them? Yes. The majority of the black community rather play the victim than look at this case, realizing facts and the judicial process, and make an unbiased decision. It really is an ignorant world we live in.

Racial profiling was not an issue here. Look at the 911 transcripts. He called and explained his suspicious behavior, not a damn thing about wat he looked like. They asked him wat race he was , so when he said black male that's profiling? They asked him wat he was wearing before it was ever mentioned. He was singled out because of his actions, not wat he looked like.

I don't see why people get so upset about people voicing different opinions.
A lot of the posts are immature and fueled by anger that they inevitably delete after their pr people tell them to take them down. I can't stand my generation that always feels the need to vent on social media instantly instead of letting the anger subside and make themselves look like unintelligent jackasses.

But YES he racial profiled?
So you rather have the TSA pull grandma and little kids aside instead of Muslims? Some times you just have to look at the facts. Would you be more suspicious of a black guy wearing a Polo and Dockers in a nice neighborhood or a black guy wearing pants down to his arse and a dew rag where he sticks out like a sore thumb?

I don't even know who Bryan Peterson is, but he just got my respect.

Most of these athletes were 3-10 year olds during the OJ trial
