Thank you. That will probably get UFC 2x more viewers the next time he fights. You know people will tune in because they'll want to see him get beat. I can't believe there's a lot of people that don't like the man. Is it because he's from WWE and came into the UFC and started kickin arse and is a champ now in the UFC???

Brock Lesnar is a fricking tard...
That being said, he's also one of the best heavyweights in the world. I'm pretty sure Fedor would beat him. Almost positive actually. But, that would be a huge event to watch.

if th UFC could only let him have one of those grand entrances like he does in Japan.
I think the biggest problem some of the asian fighters have in the UFC is that they dont cut much weight or none at all compared to a lot of the americans. belcher dwarfed akiyama big time in the fight.
i think akiyama should cut to 170 and compete there. i see big things.

Yep. It would be the Tyson-Holyfield type fight that we never got to see until after Tyson got out of jail.
Sadly, it is likely to never happen due to the jackass known as Dana White.
BTW, I think Fedor would beat Brock right now. One year from now, I think Lesnar/Fedor is anybody's guess. Lesnar is getting exponentially better with experience right now. There is not a HW in the UFC that can challenge him right now.

White catches alot of the heat...but you can't blame a guy for not wanting his fighters competing in all kinds of tournaments around the world.....Fedor wants to fight everywhere and Dana wants him to have an exclusive big UFC contract. If you'rep aying someone a ton o f money you want them to be your guy not every other organizations

i could be totally wrong here, but i don't think that's really the issue. they want to prevent fedor from entering sambo tournaments in russia, which seems ridiculous to me.

just like owners of teams don't want their players doing certain things off the court/field....Dana wants to haev Fedor simply UFC.....I can understand where he is coming from....and I understand Fedors side

The previous contract offered to Fedor included a champions clause that would extend the 3 fight deal as long as fedor remained champion (assuming he won the first title fight). Therefore as long as he kept winning, White would own Fedor and Fedor would not be able to do anything else. Add to this a likely pay cut for Fedor. Then throw in that Fedor is very nationalistic and was the russian sambo champion before fight fans even knew him. Hell, Fedor would have to give up something he loves and takes pride in for less money and possibly for a long time until he lost in the UFC.
Sounds like a great deal for Fedor to me.
