quote:Oh, the sweet irony of this post while all the Cleveland guys are hammering at their keyboards saying Lebron would NEVER be supported by this city.
Denial is the first step

or are we talking about the same ohio *fans* who loathed urban meyer while at florida and now conveniently would take his cock up their arse just to shake his hand?

Again, what are you saying?
The Q would have 1400 people in attendance in the playoffs?
No. There's no question people would still support the Cavs, but I seriously doubt most would jump back on the LeBron train. I understand that if you would support the Cavs, you would be supporting LeBron in a way. But in my mind supporting the Cavs and still hating LeBron would still be possible. Hell, it's basically what I do with Jamison now.

Or you're like the other guy who wants everyone to think you would be able to hear a pin drop in the Q after Lebron throws down a monster dunk? You guys aren't really joining us in reality right now.
I never stated, nor implied this.
quote:
Give up your season tickets, and the demand will be sky high and those tickets will be gone the very first day they're available, and the Q will be rockin' just like it was before. That's basically undeniable, IMO
I'm not doubting that. Alot of the season ticket holders were older rich folk who loved the entertainment of LeBron. Theres no question the Q would be full and I've never implied otherwise.
While i quoted Trey and completely agreed Cleveland would not take him back under any circumstance, I wasnt saying that if he came back, the support for the Cavs would hault. I'm just saying I think most diehard Cleveland and Cavs fan would not want LeBron back if given the chance. It may sound dumb to you, but so be it. Agree to disagree.

I'm just saying I think most diehard Cleveland and Cavs fan would not want LeBron back if given the chance.
Well, your thought process is different than his, and much more logical.
He actually said the Q would do "nothing" when Lebron scores if he came back.

My support for the Cavs woulds stop if Lebron came back.
Posted on 2/17/12 at 9:14 am to shel311
There would be the people who refuse to cheer for him, like I would, but there would obviously be cheering also. I hope the situation never arises anyways. I like the direction the Cavs are going so far with Kyrie and Thompson.

Now maybe you have a better understanding of why I don't take you very seriously. You're all over the place.
So yesterday you WAS rooting for the Cavs with Bron, and today you're not?
Get your argument straight and consistent man.

Once Lebron is hurt, I can root for the Cavs again.

Nice try.
You don't even know what you personally would do and yet you're trying to speak on behalf of an entire city?

You don't know a single person from the city, don't know their feelings, and you are trying to speak for a whole city. At least my opinion is based on knowledge of how people feel.

my opinion
You don't even know if you'd root for the Cavs or not if Lebron came back.
That's the opinion we're supposed to trust?
Yikes.

So no rebuttle to how you are making these statements without knowing how the people that we are talking about actually feel. OK.
But you dont need to respond because Im tired of arguing with someone who's never been here and really has no clue what he is talking about.
Have a nice weekend fellas.

Fans are the same everywhere, stop acting like Cleveland is sooooooo different. Winning cures all, in any city.
And simply put, the notion that 20K fans would sit in silence as he scores buckets is 100% laughable.
And furthermore, like I said, your opinion is null because you don't even know if you'd root for the team or not.

Again, this coming from the guy who says the Q will sit in silence, and he also doesn't know if he's rooting for the Cavs or not, it changes day to day LOL.

Anybody see the game? Hell, all you need is to see the extended highlights.
Lebron does the powder toss tonight and it seems like half the folks near him had their cell phones out and were all big smiles.
Every dunk he had you could see a smattering of folks in the crowd standing up, cheering, clapping.
And that's as a guy on the opposing team.
But yea, if he were back in Cleveland, they wouldn't cheer for him.

Delonte put it in LeBron's mom's arse. Cleveland wins.

@WindhorstESPN: Also more than a few fans here wearing LeBron Heat jerseys. That's something you didn't see here last year."
