How is she terrible. Nobody knows for sure if she banged Delonte. Hell she raised Lebron all by herself. He was a good kid growing up, don't hear his name in the news for fighting, making tons of kids, etc. Seems like she did a good job raising Lebron being a single mother compared to a lot of black moms raising kids alone.

I have no idea why everyone seems to accept the Delonte West thing as the truth. It seemed like a wild rumor at the time, and has now for some reason turned into accepted fact.

I really don't like LeBron, but after reading the short blurb in USA Today, it seems like he handled it exceptionally well.

Heckle. Yell "air ball" (like that would ever happen with LeBron
) and any other game stuff you can think of, but the personal stuff has really gotten out of hand. I see it at high school games now. Despicable.

LeBron may be one of the top basketball players in the world, but he is a world class bitch. Guy can't handle criticism, has no general idea of what kind of person he wants to be. Can't manage himself. Let's his friends run his life off the court. Can even properly make a free agent decision. To top it all off, he puts his kids on the bottom row of an arena when he knows he is probably the most hated player in the NBA right now and gets all shocked and offended when someone criticizes him. How the hell was the heckler suppose to know that his kids were down there?

My point is that he didn't get all shocked and offended. He handled it well based on what was being said to him.
And he is still a young guy who went straight from a dysfunctional homelife and high school to millions. I'm surprised he can handle himself at all.

This. I attended the Knicks/Heat game at Madison Square Garden in December when Lebron had a triple double. Every time he touched the ball, entire sections would break out and chant "Delonte West / banged your mom / Delonte West / banged your mom." They changed "banged" to "f!**ed" late in the third when Lebron took over the game. He better get used to the constant heckling because it will never stop.

Kobe also comes from a much better upbringing. It is not surprising that he can handle criticism. It is not always Lebron vs. Kobe and I like Kobe and not Lebron FWIW, but you do not always have to criticize him for everything he does.
