Do players normally bring cell phones to take videos to practice?

regardless, contrary to colin cowherds belief, this is the pussification of america.

I hope they raise hell at Texas Tech.

No kidding huh?

I hope the player vote him off the team. Or give the little worm another concussion.

It would not surprise me.

I was hoping Ruffin Mcneill would kick him off of the team.

well I could see why Leach didnt want to apologize..if you were a coach, would you want to apologized to one of your player? hell no..its pride and what he did was right.

at first ESPN was all over this case because it was toward Leach..now that the pressure is on TT, ESPN doesnt seem interested in the story anymore..

that was the first thing that came to mind when i saw that vid.

1. who knows when that video was taken
2. what does it prove. "i can only turn the lights on for a minute". that settles it, case closed.

Injured players usually do not dress out with head injuries until cleared by medical staff.

Leach did say in the press he did show up tp practice not dressed with sunglasses on (headaches) which led him to be placed in the room...Very plausable he had the phon in his UA TTech jacket.

not saying its not possible. but yeah, i doubt a player dressed or not is allowed to bring his phone to practice.

do you think after the "no twitter" policy that players could bring their phones to practice? if they were ever allowed to do so in the first place? which i doubt?

Come on now...you think they frisk the players to make sure they don't have their cell phones on them at practice?

Players injured/dress out that are held out from activity usually hang with their position coach during practice or in training room/rehab room/wt room doing exercises to keep up with endurance or work on injured area.

It is simple...James showed up to the practice wearing the shades....the Pirate got pissed and wanted to put the kid in his place....he instructed a studnet trainer (my opinion) to take James to the closet to the media room and let him rot till practice was over.

The Pirate should had sent the kid in the locker room...told him to put on his shorts and get his arse in the training room and get on the UBE or bike for endurance exercises...or have him hang with the position coach and observe the practice and the plays from the playbook and schemes....

But, because he made James go in a small concrete closet with electrical boxes (keep in mind, the kid was diagnosed with a head injury by a(n) MD....and you can not see anything wrong?...Kid could had a siezure-highly unlikely...but has been known to happen in environment that he was in).

Leach gave Tech enough rope for them to hang him on.

My point is that they would not have let Leach make it all go away with just an apology if it was as bad as they made it out to be.

Did Kansas offer to let Mangino apologize so that he could keep his job? No way.

My point is that the real reason they wanted to fire Leach is because he wouldn't apologize when they asked him to. Then they trumped up the incident with James to give them an excuse/cause to get rid of him.

you just answered your own question.

the kid said he couldn't handle the light. leach told him where to go. james doctor said what leach did was the right thing to do.

you people keep acting like james couldn't leave. seriously think about that for a second.

wow, i just realized what you said.

well that was trainers out there that was watching out for him. Here's another problem, TT doesnt allow Leach to talk to his players or coaches ects. Maybe those trainers will tell you what happened because I dont think any trainer would just let a player get a bad treatment like that...he was being monitored carefully by the staffs

Physician?

Head trauma...elctrical boxes....noise...auora...

Seizure....if has history...but unlikely.

Like I said, the kid was hsowing the coach up....the coach was trying to make his suffer and prove he was full of ish with the concussion...

The problem is, he was diagnosed by the team physician with a mild concusion.

If something happened to the kid (highly unlikely...but could)...not only Leach is on the hook...but so would be Tech....Lawyers dream and state would make an example.

The Pirate should had sent the kid straight to the training room and let them deal with him...but the Pirate was being a major Prick and it may end up buring him.

Either way, both will settle.

eta: it is obvious Tech AD wanted to rid of Leach...but Leach gave them plenty of ammo to hang him on.

like I said...

this whole thing reeks of setup.

I think the pirate is innocent in this whole situation.

and yet... wait for it... even the kid's doctor said what leach did was the right thing to do.

wow, no he wasn't. he was diagnosed by his personal doctor. leach wanted him to see the team doctor by he refused. are you actually paying attention to this?
