Celtic vs. Rangers

I don't think that people realize how freaking intense that one is.

A friend of mine told his kid, "Don't talk to strangers, especially if they support the Rangers."

I mean, I know a couple of pubs that make sure that the Celtic supporters and the Rangers supporters sit as far apart as possible when both clubs are on television.

This is NO-longer a rivalry!!! Cause one team wins EVERY YEAR and it will comtinue as long as Carroll is there.

Jusy a few years before Carroll came along, SC had not won for an even longer period (they did manage a tie).

Claude LeMieux was a marked man for years because of that cross check.

Still. How long Carroll stays at SC will determine how many more wins they have over ND, Sorry its not a rivalry anymore except for those at ESPN. And a few LSU fans that hope BOTH LOSE!!!!

I lived in colorado 94-96 and those games with the red wings were intense. I still hate the red wings and root against them every game. Too bad the Avs had to start sucking

Boca Juniors vs River Plate
Barcelona vs Espanyol
Inter Milan vs AC Milan
Man Utd vs Liverpool

All better than American rivalries, there are more just didn't feel like going through all of them.

ETA - Even USA vs Mexico is a badass rivalry

I'll never forget Roy and Vernon going at it at mid-ice with blood all over the place from the fights going on everywhere. Lemieux started it all the year before with that cheap shot on Draper that broke his jaw. Great stuff.
