Who ya got? Team Fromtress is looking stacked as usual. Field for GC is deep this year. Very interested to see what Vicenzo Nibali does

Nibali won't do anything unless he holds onto his car again

I don't think Domoulin is riding.
Nibili may be the best rested but I think with the 40 k ITT stage 16 Froome takes it unless something drastic happens

Is Froome riding for GC? I haven't kept up with the team's goals for Vuelta. I find it incredibly pointless for Froome to even race.

Froome has wanted to win the Vuelta for 7 years. I think it means a lot to him as it's the tour where he has his big breakout and was robbed by the team and Wiggins

How did Contador look? I am sad this is it for him, or at least I thought Rolle said that.

I think it's just a lesser Grand Tour than the TdF. So I guess it's just baffling that he cares. But that could be his motivation. If nothing else, it adds some intrigue into a Grand Tour that I generally don't even bother to follow even casually.

Contadope looked bad today. He may just try for stages now.

Lesser GT for sure it terms of prestige, but I think that makes it great. Really gives the organizers a chance to play with the GT formula. See what works and what does not work.

Matteo Trentin walked away from all challengers in a technical sprint finish today. Quick-Step dominating the race so far winning 3 out the first 4 stages
