Kobe calls out Dwight again

"We don't have time for (Howard's shoulder) to heal," Bryant said Wednesday in an exclusive interview with ESPNBoston.com's Jackie MacMullan. "We need some urgency."
quote:
“
Dwight worries too much about what people think. I told him, 'You can't worry about that. It's holding you back.' He says, 'OK, OK, OK,' but it's always hovering around him. He just wants people to like him. He doesn't want to let anyone down, and that gets him away from what he should be doing.

that's been the story of Kobe's career. allow big men and other all stars to make him look better than he really is and receive all of the credit and glory. then throw them under the bus.
take Shaq and Gasol away from Kobe's career and he would have never won a single championship. Shaq carried that team for three of them and Gasol (along with others) made the Lakers what they were during the other two. Kobe had 3 years in between Shaq leaving and Gasol arriving to prove that he was "the man" and he led the Lakers to an overall under .500 record and never got out of the first round. Gasol was shipped to the Lakers in a ridiculous trade and the Lakers became title contenders again overnight hitting a 10-15 game win streak immediately with Kobe receiving 100% credit from the media.

I'm not a Kobe fan but what he is saying is true.

I wasn't knocking Kobe. Dwight is a little (or big) bitch. Kobe was spot on.

yeah because they would have won those championships without Kobe right?

shut the hell up. To be a championship team you have to have good players all around the team and Kobe had NO ONE from Shaq to Pau and averaged 30+ points during those season. No one could've carried those teams to a title.

Take pippen away from MJ, how many titles does MJ have? 0
Take wade away from lebron, how many titles does lebron have? 0
It's very easy to play that game

When the FO chose Kobe over Shaq, Lakers went into mediocrity. . .Shaq went and won it all.

Although what Kobe is saying is true you can't under any circumstance bring that shite to the media. Kobe is a horrible teammate which makes him the most hard to like NBA superstar ever. In contrast Lebron and MJ23 made excellent team players while in the case if Lebron he is almost too good of a teammate and will defer to other players in moments where he could take over by himself

Shannon Brown
Daniel Gibson
Drew Gooden
Larry Hughes
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
LeBron James
Damon Jones
Dwayne Jones
Donyell Marshall
Ira Newble
Sasha Pavlovic
Scot Pollard
Eric Snow
Anderson Varejao
David Wesley
Lebron led this team to the NBA Finals. Just saying.

quote:maybe not. Shaq took that clusterfrick of shittiness in Orlando to the big dance. So who can say if Shaq doesn't?
yeah because they would have won those championships without Kobe right?
But Kobe definitely doesn't without Shaq.
