Like I said, if Carmelo carries them to a win in this game, the Garden will be rocking in Games 3 and 4.

And when the Garden crowd gets behind a player, it is unlike any other crowd in basketball. I remember games when the crowd got behind Sprewell in 1999 and 2000 and he would single-handedly carry them to wins. It's almost magical.

It won't matter because Melo shoots to many jumpers. I doubt he can sizzle enough to beat the celts four times, of course he won't have to score 40+ if amare is back. I would like to see Anthony on the block more and driving more where be can not depend so much on hot shooting. But when he's on, he's on

If Melo carries them to a win in this game, I expect this series to go 7.

My dreams of the LeBrondo show in Boston were dashed when James went to the Heat

It really is. It's the best home-court advantage in basketball when the crowd is invested in the team. Especially when the crowd gets invested in an individual player.

Does Rondo elevate his game in the playoffs more than any other player?

Obviously he's playing the Knicks right now, which is the dream match-up for him, but he's been a phenomenal playoff player for the last 2 years.

ETA: And I'm not even looking at the stats. Just the way he controls the game and the pace, knowing when to push and when not to, how well he finishes at the rim, his defense and effort, everything.

No way is any homecourt atmosphere better than Oklahoma city's.

Knicks haven't made the playoffs in 7 years, and haven't had a really good team in 11 years. It's the best home-court advantage, when the situation is right.
