If a fighter makes no attempt to defend himself, the fight is called by the ref.
Kimbo took multiple shots to the face without attempt to intelligently defend himself; therefore, he was done.

i saw one to the back of the head. shite happens when people are turtling up trying not to get hit. they can deduct a point, they usually warn first but they shouldn't really step in unless its repeated which it wasnt.

Kimbo follows up the humiliating loss with a pitiful dodging of fight assessment via interviewer..and gives a "Icemanesque shoutout" to follow him to the afterfight party..exposes self and XC as amateurs for this fight, interview, and laissez-fare attitude about being exposed.
This isn't a UFC PPV, this is a largely greenhorn CBS crowd just learning the sport, this fight and postgame interview just killed this contract between CBS and XC when re-up time comes.

It really just looked like a glancing blow. Still, it looked like the ref moved in to give a warning but was too intimidated to get into the mix.
