you only think Pryor is a great leader because they win which includes a variety of factors like a better o-line and running game

ITS frickING LSU!!!! They SHOULD have a better O-line and RB'S than OSU. AND they MAY have. BUT WHAT happened. Tell me again how much confidence Miles and Crowton have in JJ running the WHOLE Crowton offense.

Peej, be fricking real for a second. We all saw that o-line getting completely blown off the ball. They may have actually made Jefferson look WORSE than he was. When there's a young QB back there those older guys up front need to step up their game and Ciron Black and Lyle Hitt along with others DID NOT DO THAT.

I agree that the LSU O-line was about the worst in the country. BUT THAT SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ANY LSU FAN. Or IT SHOULD!!!! Bottom Line is that I don't think JJ is in the same class as Pryor. He has been given a MUCH more playbook than JJ. There is a reason for this. LOOK I like JJ I hope he does well, But he is not even in the same class as Pryor.

Not sure I quite get the OU hype at this point. They gotta show me something beyond last season first.

passing wise yes.

But overall COLLEGE QB. Pryor is way better

Pryor showed marked improvement in his game as the year progressed, the other fella didn't.

Take the P&G glasses off man. JJ shows lack of emotion. Pryor is leading the team in pregame and he is leading on the sideline. As far as the Tee Martin to Peyton, cmon man. What has Jefferson done? Peyton at least led his team to SEC Championship Game and won 39 of his 45 games as a starter. Jefferson won a Chick Fe Lay Bowl against an overrated team and then led LSU in his first real season to a loss in the Capital One. If you cant see the intangibles that set these two apart, you shouldnt really be posting.

Plenty of times JJ had beyond reasonable time to throw the ball, with open receivers and couldn't pull the trigger or bail in reasonable enough time to gain positive yardage. The offensive line was average. JJ doesn't have the intangibles to be a competitive QB at this point, hopefully will develop it during the upcoming season.

I'm not talking about who can rah-rah their team up and shite like that. When it comes to actually playing the position, between the white lines, Pryor isn't all that much better than Jefferson. Marcus Randall could have been the guy the team rallied around the most and loved and played for but that doesn't change that Mauck and Russell were better QBs than him.
