And that is exactly why these players keep pulling this shite every year. They give in to what these guys want everytime.

Do none of these guys in the front office have kids?

Love this term, we are now comparing Julio Jones to the assembly line worker at Ford

I've changed my opinion on holdouts over the years. I used to be extremely pro-owner, but I've become neutral. The minute a player is not performing up to a contract, they are cut.

So in your office you’d be fine with sitting at the exact same salary for 3 years despite excellent performance and others in your field doubling your salary? You’d stay loyal to that company? 3 years is likely 30 percent of his career. That’s a long arse time in NFL career terms. 30 percent of a normal persons career span would be like 12-15 years

Julio is trying to max out his earnings. Nothing unusual about that. Can't blame a guy for trying.

The sad part for most NFL players is they can't hold a job outside of football.
Julio has a UofA degree. He'll be fine either way.

A lot of dudes in the NFL need to start following the Revis model by beating on themselves when it comes to contracts. Especially positions that are undervalued like RB.
