it used to be a really strong signal years and years ago when i was a kid .. so it might .. i haven't heard brando in years, i might have to check it out ..

I just like any show that gets me LSU news since I live out of state. Though these days I have been listening to the blitz on espn Houston from 12-2 then buddy for his last hour.
I understand people not liking buddy, but I don't care as much about national sports news as I do LSU news.

I'm mainly laughing at the notion of buddy's typical listener using either a smart phone or the internet...they're old.

I couldn't find anything out about WUBR except that it's 1,200 watts and powers down to 57 at night. Was formerly a gospel station, the tower is in Zachary, and that they're operating on a temporary format until they receive a proposed format from their church.

at one time that frequency was WLCS-AM .. supposedly it was a major radio station in BR back in the day and had a monster signal ..
