I wouldn't expect a big name ESPN'er or Fox name to make the switch... it'd be a huge buyout situation. DP already does things for NBC i believe. I just think DP and Al Michaels are both more of the same... I don't think DP is a color commentator.

i wouldnt imagine anyone from ESPN coming over, they have a partnership with ABC.

At least Cowherd has a personality and an opinion...which may be better for talk radio than commentating a nationally televised game. But I'd rather the contraversy than the boring fricker that has to relate every play in the game to "when I played football" Damn that pisses me off. It's worse than hearing John Madden ramble on for 5 minutes about how a fumble just isn't a fumble anymore.

So you can't stand to listen to someone who actually studies film, is knowledgable about the game, and actually brings something to the table?
