They do per one of the “most complex contracts” in NBA history, personally I would’ve waited until next summer when he became a RFA to offer him this extension bc he IS NOT the future of this team based on his health history and the team already possesses no. 1 picks Simmons and Fultz and 2017 All-Rookie player Dario. The Sixers seriously must know something we don’t regarding advancements in medical science to offer him the extension so soon bc it really doesn’t make much sense from a pure basketball standpoint.
