It's pretty difficult to dismiss Jerry West's track record with rebuilding teams.

Meh...dude has to be in his mid to upper 70s. It will take a few years before they are contenders.
If they go for ball, I think team harmony will be an issue at all times. West or no West.

What year did he leave the Lakers org?

He got to GS in 2011. By 2013 they had all of the pieces they needed to put together this championship run.

Phil basically ran him in 2000 since it was Jackson who brought in his own players & blew West off.

Then went on to eventually drive the Grizzlies in a ditch before he left at 22-60(ruining their future with his Drew Gooden pick over Stoudamire).

He's not the GM nor the President of Basketball Operations in G.S. ,but he'll somehow get credit for the Warriors success.

Did he trade his best players to the clippers first like he did before he left Memphis?

Exactly...no way he was the driving force in the Cuury pick or the Green pick

Game has passed him imo, doesn't mean he's dumb, just means he won't personally rebuild anything

He picked Curry, Green and Klay

Jerry said he would never trade Klay. Maybe Clips will sign him

not true if you consider that most sec ranters believe that their team's backups are better than the starters.

And they would hire Les Miles when Steve steps down

Apparently, Magic and Jeanie Buss wanted to go in another direction

That's odd. I heard Magic goes both ways.
