one of the biggest thing is the colts lack of investment in a competent OL
Same issue they have had for nearly two decades now.manning worked around it until it got his neck broken, luck can't work around it.

Wtf are you laughing at. He would be the first pick this year and next. Same as luck. Winston has a stronger arm, has equal leadership traits, equal accuracy and decision making.

Luck had so much potential. Not sure what happened.
The Colts didn't protect him and he got destroyed.

Talk about a blast from the past. I was mostly correct, as usual
Before you try to beat me up, I predicted the NC and him going #1. Prospect means draft.

Are we comparing a guy who hasn't played in a year vs a guy who was suspended and will be sitting...
I mean this seems like a complete even thing right now....

How was he a better prospect than Luck?

The ability to remember a thread like this from 5 years ago is uncanny. I thought the only people who could remember irrelevant things from a long time ago and hold them over your head were women...

How do you quantify the expected value of number 1 picks in different years at same position? I guess compare pro success and form opinion based topics on the more sports board

Most on this board also thought Luck and/or Winston would be better than Cam Newton. lol

That's his Achilles heel.

Cam Newton has one outlier season. So does Luck. It’s a wash.

Colts needed to protect Luck better, but the dude is made of glass. He stays injured. Lots of QBs don't play behind good lines, but they don't get injured as often as this guy.
