Every good NFL OC has gone back to it for a reason. You got to give your o-line opportunities to enforce their will. RPOs are candy arse football that produce candy arse O-lines. Pass blocking sucks arse and asking lines to do it all of the time is retarded

It's not even just this. Running out of the shotgun (without an option) is typically only effective one direction and you telegraph it. Mixing in under center (single back only, no FBs) gives you flexibility to run to either side and to use many different blocking styles.
