But, he struggles to throw 10 yards accurately.
He’s actually been really good for passes down field in that range when they actually get a chance to attempt them
He’s struggled on shorter passes where they tend to go super low. I think he’s concerned about turnovers to the point where it’s not even beneficial and it’s creating more turnovers bc he won’t just let it fly naturally. The last few weeks I think he’s been aiming his check down passes low in hopes that it won’t result in a turnover and it’s led to an insane amount of tipped passes the last couple weeks and turnovers from those tips
His issues haven’t really been arm related. His mechanics get sloppy at times and bad things happen. He also is just missing his instinct in the pocket. He’s constantly holding the ball too long with a defender right in position to make a play before it registers to him that he needs to either scramble or throw it away, usually it’s too late whenever he finally figures it out.

This, his arm is shot.
Again his arm strength has not really been an issue really. He’s been an effective immediate to deep ball passer, especially considering the receiving options ,or lack there of, on the roster

well. I think the Pats probably regret picking him up
He hasn’t been great but he’s been better than what the Pats would’ve put out there otherwise
He also filled a huge leadership role on the team. Given how little they paid for Cam, I doubt they regret it at all.

No doubt. Dude is a broken down hazard.

He is done..... his arm is gone and his chooses on the field are gone as well . He peaked in 2015 and hasn’t really been the same since.

I know the media likes to hype his leadership but I don't, nor have I ever bought that. It's all they have left to prop him up i understand, cause his play is shite now. But, the second he bailed on that loose ball in the Super Bowl, he lost the respect of the real leaders in Carolina, and other teams and players remember that as well.

He physically can't do the things that made him special anymore. He's too old and beat up at this point. However he can still be a QB in the NFL easily. Probably as a backup or even a guy who can go to camp and compete for a franchise that doesn't have a good plan in place yet.

That’s just dumb and completely irrelevant to how he’s been a leader to this specific Patriots team.

......Or maybe his last as a starter?......
Do you think he will be improved next year
Have you seen the state of QB play this year?? Many teams would kill for him to be the backup. He will have many years left collecting a paycheck and coming off the bench.

They should go after Stafford
