USC ain't back until they prove it. I put them in the ole miss category a few years ago when they were preseason top 5

You had LSU, Alabama, OSU.... and?

Oregon, Stanford, and USCw were all pretty good. They weren't LSU/Bama, but nobody was on the level of LSU/Bama last year.

Wisconsin was pretty solid, but again, not great.

I don't think it is down as a whole, I think that there are actually more better teams leading to parity. Then you have your few teams that just happen to be loaded and a cut above the rest (LSU/Alabama from last year).

Yeah but it seems you only have to be great on one side of the ball the last 5 years.

None of those champions are beating balanced on both sides of the ball teams who were dynamic but also stuffed the run...Tebow's Florida, Vince Young's Texas or USC's Bush, Leinart.

Oregon/Okie State - maybe USC this year...great on O - Bama/LSU great on D.

Yes. Obviously when the powers of the '90s went away, top football players completely stopped playing college football altogether. They didn't start going to other schools, they just gave it up completely. So once those schools went down, then entire talent level suffered and now everyone sucks. You fricking retard.

1992 scholarship reductions have led to more balance and a cyclical change in power
