i turned him on after this thread when i went to lunch at 1 when his show was starting. i swear, the first 10-15 minutes he was talking to a guy at some prairieville seafood restaurant who gave the most monotone, one word answers ive ever heard. they talked the first 10-15 minutes about the fricking menu options. buddy said at least 3 times that he had just had the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and lima beans.

i turned the station when i headed back to work. im betting he still hasnt begun to talk sports yet.

You do know radios come equipped with little knobs that allow you to change the station??

Haha, yea well I like the local sports aspect of it. The national radio shows only seem to talk about nba which i have zero interest in.

I like Howard stern but his show is on replay around 1 or 2 pm, when I usually take my lunch break.

I will put buddy on but can only handle him in 3-4 minute increments

Nothing better than hearing an Electronics Store Manager Give his take on Bama's 3-4 Defense.

What's worse is when he is doing a promotion from Holliday hallmark and some stupid arse woman tells us why she thinks LSU will beat alabama 35-0

Then buddy milks it like he totally believes what she is saying.

"Ok! Ahhh yea?! You sound spicy today!!!"

Followed by that annoying cackle laugh

His voice/accent is unbearable.
Have you listened to Bobby, Hokie and Deke on WWL?

All three sound like they were dredged from the swamp and hauled off on the back of a turnip truck and somewhere in route to New Orleans, they fell off.

How WWL can allow that on their radio station is unbelievable.

Don't understand the hate. I was always a fan of Buddy's.
