KG was considered "not a winner" until 2008 and Dirk until 2011 tbh.
KG took his crappy TWolves teams to 6 straight playoff appearances, and making it to the WCF without his 2nd best player once they finally got that first round monkey off his back.
He was making the playoffs routinely, and the year he didn't, he won 44 games.
Dirk took a team with Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse to the Finals before being a "winner" in 2011. Dirk got his teams to 50+ wins routinely.
AD has had 2 winning seasons in 7. Had KD not gotten hurt, he has 1 playoff appearance in those 7 years.
There's a big difference between being considered "not a winner" and leading your crappy team to 50+ every year, and being "not a winner" and leading your team to 34 wins routinely.

No he is a premiere generational talent. Only negative about him is he is injury prone as shown throughout his career thus far.

At the turn of the century, the pacers led the league in 3P with 583. Golden State just made 1256 last year. Steph has made 400 in a season alone. There aren’t many players whose talent transcends eras as it pertains to being mvp caliber and being able to carry a team
Dirk won in 2011 with Kidd/Terry/Marion/Chandler. Teams were taking almost 2000 3's a year then.
Dwight Howard got his 2000 3's a year team to the Finals in 2009.
Lamarcus Aldridge was winning 50 games a year in Portland after his 3rd year with no knees Brandon Roy before Lillard came along.
It wasn't until about 3 years ago when teams starting throwing up 2500+ 3's a year.
I completely understand it's a different era and 3 ball is king. Doesn't change the fact that a superstar player should be able to get his team to .500, regardless of what position he plays. Up until about 2 years ago, the Grizzlies didn't care about the teams putting up 3000 3's, they got to the playoffs routinely.
I'm not saying the Pels should be title contenders. All i'm saying is if AD was so great, then we wouldn't be winning 34 games a year, doesn't really matter what supporting cast he has.
