Not only is it awkward to play that, and probably not a good idea in 2019, but it also makes no sense since he has no southern affiliation with his teams (Well really Indianapolis is the only one that matters, i forgot he went to hs in Houston not sure ifthat really qualifies as dixie)

It was basically the national anthem for the CSA. Schools like Bama and Ole Miss had to stop playing it during football games.

No its fine. Its largely irrelevant in 2019, but it can be viewed as a "Southern Pride" song and the lyrics can be viewed as racist since its talking about longing for old times aka slavery and shite.
