I feel that we should take a leaf out of soccer’s book and use AI to control the clock. If you didn’t watch the World Series every goal attempt was immediately AI tested for being offsides. Clock measurement is small fries compared to that.

No more losing a half second on every play thanks to human response times.

Also, if the replay booth clock uses tenths of a second and the rules allow them to impose that on the game, then the fricking game clock should show it too. Just like basketball
