Life is good !I can remember listening to World Series games in grammer school on a transistor radio hidden in my desk.If you were lucky the teachers would have a "project" to keep us busy and would let us listen .

Thank God John Sterling wasn't the radio voice back then. Every time I hear one of his lame arse calls on Sportscenter or something, I want to puke.

I met the Scooter at a bagel store in Union on a Sunday morning during the playoffs maybe 10 years ago. Nice guy
Another socoter story. My father's boss is meetign with him and knows ny father is a big baseball man. Boss says to my father I want you to meet the best shortsop ever to play in new York. My father looks at Rizzuto and can you move out the way, Pee Wee Reese must be standing behind you.
