What penalties would you dish out?
NONE to the football team. This is more of a morale issue than a football issue. These kids on THIS team have nothing to do with what happened. The coach is dead. The molester is in jail forever. Anyone else in the higher ups should be fired. Fine the school??? Sure, But to take away from these kids would be just wrong.

Put Sandusky out in the general population in prison for starters.

1. Fine of $500 million - used to perform an investigation into every single action that Jerry Sandusky was allowed to do in the last 30 years. i.e., complete outside investigation of every person that was ever involved in the Second Mile, the adoption agency he used, the foster care program he used, etc. I'd want to find out the bottom line of what was allowed to go on throughout his life (i don't want to know personally and don't care if the public knows, but each person involved must be held accountable). He was enabled by 1000s and outside of something of this nature, everyone will never be held accountable. You can't trust the police to handle this situation completely and fully because they are Penn State, just like everyone else there.
2. The University will pay the family of every victim $10 million. This will continue to occur as the investigation reveals more victims.
3. The results from #1 will be used to prosecute every single person who covered up, hid, and enabled Sandusky.
