I think he will sign a 4 year deal with Toronto with opt-outs as soon as possible.

He moves to the Clippers in 2020 after Toronto fails to repeat.

I've never ever heard of a team offering a four year deal with a one year opt-out before. If Kawhi wants to explore his options after next season, it would be on a 1+1 deal.

Wrong. Gretzky.

Also Kawhi is coming to NOLA.

If it's me, Clippers. Decent roster and it's home area.

I'm not him though.

He just bought a house in Toronto. So ... I'm guessing he stays for super max.

Yes he can flip the house.
My guess is he stays for the 40 million a year.

Does Drake continue to hang on the nuts of Toronto if he leaves and they suck again? I’m thinking probably not.

He's going to play wherever his uncle tells him to.

I think he would like to go home and play in L.A. but winning the championship in Toronto might change things.

His uncle is all about legacy and star treatment so he will push him towards wherever the uncle thinks he will leave the best legacy.

Clippers.

Clippers with kawhi is the #1 or 2 seed in west and unless lakers somehow get kyrie, Beal, or Butler, with AD they won’t beat a kawhi led clippers. Houston isn’t going to win. Portland won’t win. And HS will be out 2 key players assuming they resign either or both for a large majority of the season. Plus he can be one of the greatest ever if he can bring a ship to the clippers.

He won’t have to get by the Greek freak, 76ers, or nets next year.

He is King in da Norf. Why would he want to leave now where he will be worshipped as a God-King?

Because he still isn’t the King of Canada and probably not even Toronto
