Ezekiel Elliot ripped off 700 yards and 8 touchdowns against Wisky, Bama and Oregon. After a slow first three weeks, he was as good as anybody.

He was wearing a cast due to a broken hand the first 6 weeks.

And the line (who basically all return) came into their own.

It's a great time to be a Buckeye fan, something we haven't been able to say since 2002

1873 rushing yards (3rd in the nation) and 18 tds is pretty damn good.

ETA: The bigger his stage, the bigger his performance. They always talk about Heisman "moments".....his last 3 games were all Heisman moments.

So you'd advocate giving someone the heisman based on waht they did starting with conference championship weekend? It's a season long award and there were people that played better all season.

The question asked If the Hiesman weren't awarded until after the title game, who would win. I'm simply saying that Elliot made a case for best player in College Football with his post season performance, and really everything after the first three weeks of the season.

Mariota could not make the catches. If he has his starters out there, maybe he wins. He would have had two more TDs for sure.
