(1) Clemson vs. (2) Georgia

So what it'll be anyway.

Clemson vs. Oklahoma

Easily.

But...

If Nicky lobbied (per usual) maybe Alabama vs. Clemson - and voters would say hey! Part III and ratings would be 0.2.

Sagarin had Georgia's SOS 39 and Oklahoma 29.

Colley has Georgia 2 and Oklahoma 3. Don't really get that considering the SEC East was total dogshite.

How can it be Georgia if everyone is saying the CFP committee has mirrored the BCS the last 4 years...

And Oklahoma is #2.

The polls still control and Clemson and Oklahoma are #1 and #2. Polls have always controlled in the BCS after the 2003 debacle.

The polls have been chalk since 2003.

AP

1. Clemson (43)
2. Oklahoma (18)

Coaches

1. Clemson (49)
2. Oklahoma (10)

This isn't rocket science. Harris Poll always mirrored the AP Poll that pulled out.

The computers were neutered and it was just the polls.

And since the SEC doesn't carry the type of cache they had years ago anymore - I doubt Georgia and their weak SEC schedule would have ever gotten in over Oklahoma and their Heisman Trophy Winner and the defending National Champs in Clemson.

It's pretty straight forward. Clemson vs. UGA.

You say all of this as if it's some mystery. It's not. You can still back into the BCS rankings using the AP, Coaches, and computers.

Uh...but if they all have Oklahoma and Clemson #1 and #2 and that controlled the BCS?

How is Georgia getting in?

And computers never mean't shite after 2003.

Georgia doesn't have the votes.

Because UGA had the equivalent of a #2 ranking in the computers, while Oklahoma had the equivalent of #4. Oklahoma was actually a little lower than a true #4 in the computers. That offsets the edge Oklahoma had in the polls.
