but is Steve really going to risk it at that point in the tournament when is opponent certainly showed strength with a weak hand? i dont think so

Yes he will because he know Jason can not call with anything less than QQ. Therfore he is playing stacks back at Jason and Jason knows this. That is why he called. They are both good players, but Smokey is very very aggro and crazy.
