The actual contracts themselves state that's what they're being paid for. So if a collective gets taken to court because a player opts out, the collective would lose.
So yes, that's what they're being paid for.

What does that have to do with the fact that it is still against the rules for NIL contracts to be tied to playing time or performance and that doing so renders the player ineligible?
