Can Newton would have thrived in today’s college bidding game

The schools will not be the ones paying the players so it doesn’t matter. NIL means they can make money off of themselves not that the schools can pay them.

This is going to be the wild west. Once the big boys learn how to manipulate the system things will get insane

I think yall overestimate what advertisers will be willing to pay kids with a relatively small sphere of influence and recognition

The best alvin kamara could get was some shady douche trial lawyers

The QB can demand some money but most players wont get shite more than they were already getting paid to commit

How it’s supposed to work and the loop holes that will be created are 2 totally different things. This will be taken advantage of.

Except now the people donating the money to help the team will be hiring the athletes to be in commercials etc.

Hiring Kamara doesn’t help the saints win

Most players will not be worth a lot. Its a very regional appeal, most people can't name a dozen players not on their team.

Maybe, but the schools themselves have influence over their sponsors, both official and unofficial.
