No chance Clemson is anything other than the 1 seed if they are undefeated

Ryan Day is perhaps the biggest puss I've ever seen lead a college powerhouse.

Imagine apologizing for scoring a TD

. Even Gary Danielson and ESPN couldn't vote them off the top perch.

what is the acc doing for a championship? will clemson have to play ND twice? if so, they probably stay number one if undefeated.

although, it seems silly because bama beating uga twice (or uga once and florida once) would be more impressive, but whatever. the rest of both conferences are trash.

yes, that's correct, i think that georgia is better than notre dame. no idea why anyone would think that.

I think Georgia is closer to Notre Dame than Alabama or Clemson. Losing to Alabama twice is no more impressive than losing to Clemson twice. That makes it a wash between Georgia and Notre Dame.

that's kinda the whole point. they aren't that much different but there's no reason to think notre dame is a better win than georgia. alabama's schedule is tougher than clemson's. if they both go undefeated, then alabama should be number 1, not clemson.

i personally think that alabama's toughest opponent is better than clemson's. i also think the rest of alabama's schedule is tougher than clemson's although it's essentially impossible to judge this year. i don't understand why clemson is a lock to be number 1.

That isn't enough to put Alabama at #1.

Beating Kentucky and Arkansas won't be seen as being more impressive than beating Virginia Tech or Pitt.

Like it or not, beating Notre Dame twice will keep Clemson on top.
