This is no knock against Cam.

Im watching the LSU/WV game...its a blowout. The AD of West Virginia is Oliver Luck, Andrew Luck's dad. So they show the draft profiles of 3 QBs featuring also Cam Newton.

Andrew Luck had a 99, Landry Jones a 94, Matt Barkley a 91. Then it showed Cam with a 93 rating. They talked about Luck would have went number if he came out and how he's the best prospect since Peyton.

Looking at the talent Carolina has with two tight ends, solid pass protection, a nice young WR in Lafell and a possible HOF in Steve Smith.....It makes me wonder. Cause Chud (The OC) knows how to call plays.

Not to rain on the Cam parade because he's been great. It's just amazing to think how Luck would do with this talent and coaching as well. Since he's one of the best prospects ever, already familiar with a pro style offense, deadly accurate and brilliant.

To make the perfect analogy. Tim Duncan passed up college to return for his SR. year. Allen Iverson went number 1 instead and was incredible. But Philly fans to this day wish Duncan came out cause he was the superior player/prospect.

I'm still not sold on Cam Newton. NFL defenses will adjust to him. It's after that we'll see how good he can be.

Im pretty sure Carolina is happy with Cam. We have no idea how Luck will do in the pros. I know everyone raves about the guy but Ill wait and see till he actually performs in the NFL.

yes. Scout grades and ratings are objective.
