CP3 is barely in the conversation this year IMO. Kobe, Lebron, and Dwade have a pretty significant lead ahead of everyone else. Hell, Howard is probably ahead of CP3 too.
i think he'll finish 3rd. wade shouldn't be in the top 3 IMO. he's having a good individual year, but CP3 is still outplaying him and his team sucks. they actually lost to the al jefferson-less twolves at home tonight. and the magic are about to tank without jameer so i don't see howard finishing about him either

The NBA wants to give one to Lebron, Kobe finally got his last year. CP's time will come

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but why does ESPN still use the old Hornets logo??? Someone needs to hook em up with the Fleur-de-BEE!

Agreed. and I really don't have a problem with it. I just don't think Kobe deserves it over chirs. Best player in the Leauge I think Kobe, but I'm talking about MVP.

he was the one saying that he didn't care what the stephen a smiths etc opinion was on who would win the award. Guess what, those guys vote and their opinion is heard by many. He can say Paul is a candidate all he wants, but it won't be heard by MVP voters or by anyone besides people reading this website

Don't you roll your eyes at me. Wade is going to end up with a very nice year statistically, and the Heat will end up a higher seed in the East than the Hornets will in the West.
Plus, Wade has taken an absolute piss poor team to a probable playoff berth, while CP3's team is regressing from last year's run. Is it his fault? No, but that doesn't really matter to voters.

dude, they are countless 'candidates' to win the award. their are 2 legitimate candidates, lebron and kobe. them combined have a 90% chance of winning the award with the rest of the 'candidates' making up the last 10%.

Well Kobe has the Lakers at 43-10 without their inside presence. He's led them to sweeps over the Celtics and Cavs, and his stats are creeping up to 28/6/5. CP3 deserved it more last year, but not this year.

you replied to my comment to him, i was talking to you, but talking about him...i thought that was pretty obvious by what he had posted.

WTF are you talking about? The Heat just lost at home to the T'Wolves. The Hornets are finding their groove and will probably be seeded higher than Miami.

Thats cool how you can call that with a third of the season left. You said he was not a canidate. You are wrong.
Let me ask you this Boom. What is your personal opinion? Who do you think deserves the MVP the most? Not who do you think will when.

what about the 2 all star fowards?

now you are trying to argue the definition of candidate. to me, a candidate for mvp is a player who has a legitimate chance of being MVP. This year, it is between Kobe and Lebron, I don't see how you could watch the NBA and coverage of the NBA and come to any other conclusion.

Lebron or Kobe, nobody else deserves consideration. They are superstars on teams that win 80% of their games.

The West is deeper than the East. A couple of losses could mean the difference in home court and out of the playoffs for NOLA.

not only the twolves, but the twolves without their best player. the heat are so bad they just let sebastian telfair scorch them for 30 points

ok, you're boring me with this shite.
Check out this link, other than that Steve Nash aberration a couple of years ago PGs just don't win the award. My point is that CP3 will deserve this award at least a couple of times in his career and probably NOT win it...history says I'm right
Scorers win this award

The Lakers lose to the fricking Bobcats all the time. Losing one game doesn't really mean THAT much.
if you're talking about a good team it doesn't. the heat suck though, they lose games like this all the time
