Acadiana was a really good game to watch, came down to last minute and Rummel threw a pic inside the 15 on a tieing score drive.

Want to say it was 2nd and 10 inside the 15, (they scored with like 6 minutes to go and they recovered an onside kick, and they drove the field)and the QB underthrew an open WR and it was intercepted.

Pretty decent, he got a big rush for their first TD

Best HS game I've ever watched. THib erased a 22-0 halftime deficit to kick a 42 yard field goal to win the game

Just back from New Orleans

Mini-Me JT Curtis 49 University 14. Dominant running attack, mostly because their backs were ran hard downhill and never stopped churning. Numerous times we had them stacked up and they burst out of a pile for long gains. Their passing offense and defense were both weak. Our QB was picking them apart, but our receivers short-armed a lot of well-thrown balls. They were pretty wide open all night, and there was very little pass rush. A spread offense would give them problems. Good old JT tried to score with 19 seconds left in the first half up by 42-0, and went to the hurry-up for awhile in the second half up by 28 points. So, my opinion of him is unchanged-a POS.

Little McKnight did not do that much, and other backs were more impressive, including the UHS soph that we should keep an eye on-Nial Johnson-really fast, and scored both our TDs, one on a 90+ yard KR. Good to see Clinton hang tough with Evangel!

Will add this-Curtis fumbled I think 11 or 12 times-they recovered most of them, but they will not go all the way with that many errors. If we had not given them 25 points with their never going more than 20 yards to score, it would have been a lot closer. I know Barrett Bailey stayed awake all night watching his receivers running free in their secondary and not catching his passes. Wonder how the Episcopal/St. James game came out. They gave our district the #1,#2 and #3 seeds this week-think they wanted to be rid of the Baton Rouge presence in 2-A.
