Coach NW,
I don't want to downplay the impact of the hurricane, but it didn't bother this LO fan that LO didn't have to start out against CHS last season - you all even looked intense scouting LO down at EA the week before. What a year for CHS and a lot of good kids and people there. You contributed to great things there and you are humble about it. Sr. NG, and many others are great kids and you all got them to believe and the playoff run was fun to watch. I think the teams now in the 5-A district should be there, because they are natural rivalries, although I hope LO will be competitive - this is a big step. My kids have and do play all the sports against Zachary. We got over the hump in baseball in 2006, but not since. Came close in b-ball this year, but not quite. In football, we improved against Zac in 2007, and almost/could a/should a/etc. beat them (now you) last season, but the long TD Zac scored right before the half and a couple late fumbles deep in Zac territory ended up being the big hurt. Of course both sides had too many fumbles. There has to be a winner and loser, but the kids played hard. Good luck next season and feel free to lift off the pedal a little against LO....and maybe refrain from blitzing a lot.

that post deserves a BOOOOM!
damn i go out of town and things get crazy. Nice post coach. I think high schools getting publicity is a good thing and don't understand the jealousy. I also hope to see hyper active or hippos go wild on sportsline from zachary.
