because they can make more money in other conferences

That. And, not just for sports. Joining the Big10=joining the CIC.

Actually, the correct call was not made. The use of replay to correct the clock should only be used for "egregious error", which the rulebook compares to the clock running for over a minute when it shouldn't. One second hardly reaches this standard. The use of replay violated the college football rulebook. It was the wrong call, and exceeded the refs authority.

Actually, you should read rule 4-2-3a and 3-2-2b

horrible tv contracts, and unbalanced sharing of revenue that greatly favors Texas

Still makes no sense. If that is the case then the pac 10 should be shrinking due to USC dominance!

Just start from scratch and form a new Southwest Conference

1. Texas
2. T A+M
3. T Tech
4. SMU
5. TCU
6. Baylor
7. Oklahoma
8. Ok St
9. New Mexico
10. New Mex St
11. Arizona
12. Arizona St

No Divisions. First and second place play in the Championship game.

Not big enough? Add Houston and Tulsa.

Wanna get really wild? Add Arkansas and LSU, then have two divisions of eight teams each. Promise LSU the new TV contract will have a "Special Exemption Clause" that states no LSU home game will be moved to afternoon for the cameras.
