It was a very nice ride. It reminded me alot of Mine that Birds derby. His only chance was getting a super quick pace to close into, which he got.

Seriously...that last move that horse makes before making the final sprint to the front might be one of the smoothest I ever saw. I first noticed Rich Strike as he was running all by himself along the rail on the final furlong. Then I was like..."There's no way he's going to split between those two horses." And sure enough he did. Amazing finish.

Mine That Bird had a 2 length lead down the stretch and the announcer didn't even know who it was.
