Yeah, it's hard to explain, but I went about 20 years ago and never saw a live horse.

I also had the same experience with rain the night before. It was just a wet, hot jungle day out there. My group went straight to a strip club right after, it was so disgusting.

My favorite derby shirt is my 2020 “the ky derby is decadent and delayed”

The last time I went they evacuated the infield. We couldn’t figure out why because it was a beautiful day. No phone service so we didn’t know if it was a bomb threat or something.

30 minutes later in the gr1 turf a severe storm rolled through and we figured it out. Thankfully our seats were under cover.

The Lukas horse was head bobbing at the trot this morning.

I've never given up on East Ave. Asmussen horse can win R8

If there’s one Early type I like in the Derby, it’s East Avenue—especially at what should be a solid price. He looks like a horse rounding into form, and that Blue Grass effort was one hell of a race.

Let’s just hope it didn’t empty the tank. The recent works suggest he’s bounced back well.

I’m pulling for him as a fan. Don’t think I’ll be betting him.

i’m louisville local, my biggest tip is to pregame the track, prices for drinks are obsurd. Maybe i sound cheap but i would rather spend my money gambling rather than a 12$ beer. are you going in the infield or the boxes?

Might end up one of the many rumored vet scratches people are whispering about. Mcpeek did announce that he’s got a quarter crack today. Horses run on them all the time but the vets have been very touchy lately. I’m shocked nobody has been scratched yet.

Gun runner ran on a pretty big one in the derby, but they weren’t forthcoming with that info. I had a secret source

Usually that’s all kept quiet. Props to Kenny for disclosing.

Meanwhile, mine threw a shoe last week and he swore his entire leg was snapped in half
