Not a fan of Lampley but yeah HBO has a better crew.

HBO is in real trouble now that top rank (Pac, Lomachenko, Crawford, etc..) is tied to ESPN for the next four years. Also, Haymon/Mayweather promotions (Spence, Thurman, Garcia, etc...) tied to Showtime. Canelo is all HBO has left and he could lose to GGG in a few weeks.

All of this is true. In fact, HBO has really cut back on their boxing budget over the last two years. I'm pretty sure this is part of the reason Arum took his boys to ESPN....so they can actually get fight dates.
