His defense is a concern, though. He took a lot of shots that would have hurt him against someone with a little more power.

Smith confirmed (as respectfully as he could) what most accepted as fact: Canelo at this point hits much harder.

But with both that and the defensive struggles, his (Mungia’s) age is going to help overcome both of those potential problem spots. It will be interesting if both fighters meet in their prime. It would be great for boxing.
