Hawaii player gets called for targeting after sitting for targeting

A guy for Hawaii had to miss the first half of tonight’s game because of a targeting call last weekend. His first time on the field tonight was the second half kickoff. He was called for targeting even though it was a fair catch. He hit one of the blockers.

I can not understand how the coaches haven’t banded together to get the targeting rule changed. The kicking a kid out of the game for trying to make a tackle is absurd and it ruins the game.
